How We Built This Project

Jack Stack Barbecue Freight House is located in the Crossroads neighborhood of Kansas City. To complete an interior renovation of the public dining areas, bar, and private dining facilities without losing revenue, all construction was performed during closed hours. Because the Freight House is home to multiple restaurants in a high-traffic area, after-hours construction also reduced the impact on surrounding businesses and their patrons.

Key features of the renovation include a custom, floor-to-ceiling metal-clad fireplace with artwork, custom millwork for liquor storage and display, and custom lighting fixtures. New booth seating and wood ceiling systems also contributed to a dining environment that is both elevated and approachable.

“Pearce Construction includes some of the finest professionals in the industry.”
