In 1953...
Pearce Construction began in 1953 as the Chester A. Dean Construction Company. After working 12 years in the architectural field, Don Pearce joined the Dean Construction family in 1976, and Chester and Don soon formed Dean-Pearce Construction (later changed to Pearce Construction). In 1995, Darin Heyen, AIA, a registered architect, joined the firm. In 2009, Darin became the sole owner of the firm.
Today
Today, Pearce Construction continues to be led by Darin Heyen, AIA and Ryan Warman, AIA. The firm has an impressive track record of delivering innovative solutions for 750+ projects and a full range of construction management services. As advocates for sound form and function, we are committed to being good stewards of our clients’ budgets and facilitating a harmonious process every step of the way with every person involved, from owner and architect to construction crew member.
Our Mission
Owner-occupants build and renovate buildings because they want to create a better experience. At Pearce Construction, we use our passion for construction to ensure that owner-occupant clients can realize their design vision and bring their desired experience to life.
We know from working as architects that there’s often a disconnect between the architect, owner and contractor throughout the design and construction of projects. Owners in particular could easily become frustrated about project design, cost and schedule.
We recognized the need for a better way of delivering a project. Through collaboration, partnership and open communication, from the early stages of design to the completion of construction, our process provides great design through practical construction methods. Owners experience reduced overall costs and improved building function.
The first thing we build is trust through our integrity and professionalism. We don’t just win work; we earn partnerships. Our clients trust us to build the places they will spend much of their lives, and we take that trust seriously.
