Pearce Construction began in 1953 as the Chester A. Dean Construction Company. After working 12 years in the architectural field, Don Pearce joined the Dean Construction family in 1976, and Chester and Don soon formed Dean-Pearce Construction (later changed to Pearce Construction). In 1995, Darin Heyen, AIA, a registered architect, joined the firm. In 2009, Darin became an equity partner.
