Pearce constructed a new, two-story steel-framed field house for the Midwest’s leading artificial turf soccer complex, a facility that draws recreational and competitive teams from across the region.
Construction scheduling was a critical factor, with completion required prior to the spring tournament season. The building shell incorporates a composite concrete rainscreen system on the majority of its exterior, a design choice that reduces HVAC operating costs. Tensile shade structures were constructed for visitors and spectators, and the site includes extensive wayfinding signage and logo monuments.
Additional site features include a rotating marble soccer ball water fountain, concession buildings, concrete seating areas, trophy presentation areas, and children’s play areas with equipment and artificial turf surfaces to support both competitive events and recreational use of the facility.
