By transforming an existing performance hall into a flexible, fully accessible event center, the owner was able to host a wider range of events and better meet community needs.
The existing sloped floor system was converted to a stepped flat floor plan to create a more adaptable event space. New, larger restroom facilities were constructed to accommodate high-attendance events, and new concession and bar areas were added for event staging and service. Updated lighting, HVAC, and fire alarm systems were installed to meet current code requirements. A new elevator was added to provide second-floor accessibility, and new first-floor ramping systems make each level of the event space accessible. The project also included new roofing systems and the addition of an exterior courtyard for outdoor entertaining.
